Section 1.2 UP!

So yah, the title says it, but Sect 1.2 is up, here is a link in case you don't want to go to the site. LINK A little shorter than last weeks, only 3 pages. And unfortunately 1.3 is only going to be 3 pages as well, we'll see what happens with 1.4. Next section is up May 11th. Also check out the continuity error, where Greg's shirt changes from striped to plain and back to striped again.

Epic Fight Scene

So today I was drawing the last page for section 1.2, and it turns out it's a massive fight scene. I've never drawn anything this intricate, so I actually had to look up references, and do about 5 sketches, before I got something to work with.

As far the actual comic. It should definitely be out on Monday. I just have to color the last page, and then I'm done with this section. I also sat down and did a ton of writing this morning. Believe it or not, I hadn't finished writing 1.2 till today. I also wrote 1.3 and a little of 1.4, and I outlined up till 1.5. So I've got enough pages to work on for a while now.

It's been a while

It's been quite a while. So to make sure something actually gets posted. Here's something from my sketchbook that I wipped up earlier today. I'm working on pages. Should be no problem getting the next section on Monday, so look for it.

Sorry, My Blunder

So I decided to buy a new computer this week, and to subsequently reinstall everything, and completely redo everything. Well needless to say, this has put a huge cramp in my workings on really anything, but most pertinent to this blog, Northpark Underground. Most likely the second section will be coming out a week later than it was originally intended. This also explains the total lack of blog updates recently. Hopefully I'll be able to get everything sorted this weekend, and get back to work next week. So the posts will be a little light for the next couples days, but hold on.

Panel Contrast

I had a lot of problems with this panel. The above was the original. I realized I didn't have enough room for the text the way I wanted it, and That the panel wasn't at all, like I originally wrote, so I did this re-edited version. I think it looks loads better now.

Masks

Here are concept sketches for the Warriors of the 4 masks. I have no idea how I came up with the fat face one, All the other ones I got ideas from some where, but that one I seemingly pulled out of thin air.
