I wanted to just doodle something, so I did a little something for the anthology project I'm working on. I should be done with the project by the end of the week, and back to Northpark.

It took me well over a year to do, and I'm pretty proud of it. I think there is some really eclectic stuff on here. From hardcore, to pop, to hip-hop, to electro, to 80's rock, there is all kinds of stuff on here. The album is a combination of stuff I did just for fun, and contest entries.

Here are all the quick character sketches for the anthology project I'm working on. Upon re-reading the script I realized I only needed 3 kids, so I had to cut out one of them. I'm blazing through this project. I already have two pages done for it. I'm hoping to be done with it sometime next week hopefully. It's all monochromatic. Makes the coloring a little easier. It's turning out pretty good. No telling when anybody is going to see it though. If ever. Well, if it doesn't get published, I'll post it somewhere eventually.

I probably won't be posting a lot on this project. Maybe a panel or two here and there, but that'll probably be it.

As far as a Northpark Update. I did a shit ton of writing today. Wrote all of Section 1.6 and most of 1.7. They are both shaping up quite nicely. 1.7 especially. 1.6 is going be a tough one to draw. It's a good thing I gave myself all that extra time.

Mind Warped

All The concept sketches for the mind warp Team. I didn't do too many. Just a couple real quick ones. All the designs are based off different incarnations of Criss Angel.

This image may seem a little too serious for Northpark, but I assure it's just one big joke. I hope everyone gets who the new team in this section is supposed to be. I thought it was pretty funny, but maybe no one else will get it, or just think it's not funny. As far as this section goes, I think it's by far my best one yet, art wise. I really loved how this section turned out. You may notice that the next section isn't coming out for a while. I'm sorry about that, but I've got some other commitments I have to work on, and the next section is going to four pages. So Bully for you. I hope you enjoy this section. Character Sketch: Chip

I've really been enjoying drawing monkeys lately. I love chip, but he hasn't really showed up much in NU, so I'll probably try to do a short story for him after Chapter 1 is over. I plan to do a couple little one page stories after Chapter 1 is over.

I realized I almost never draw Zak straight on, it's always at an angle. So I thought I'd show a picture of what he looks like staring straight at you.

Character Sketch: Tad

Another character sketch. This time of Tad. I was just goofing around and drawing something quick. This is what came out. Now Time for some updates.

Section 1.5 is going pretty. I'm actually on schedule for once, and I should have no problem getting this section out on time (maybe even early). I just penciled and ink the second page, and it was probably the fastest pencil job I've done for this whole series so far. I'm getting ready to color it now.

Wolves Land

It's been a long time coming, but I'm finally designing a website for my music stuff. On the website you'll be able to download everything I've released over the last couple years, plus some bonus stuff. Not sure when it will be up, but It'll probably be any day now.

Character Sketch: Tess

Sorry it's been a couple days since I posted last. But I've got some stuff to post. I'm gonna be posting some character sketches over the next couple days.

I've been trying to have my characters change their clothes as needed, so here was another clothing idea for Tess. Even though their outfits change. I'm keeping them the same colors. So their is some continuity, but they're not always wearing the same things.

Group

I haven't been doing enough drawings just for fun. I've been doing process stuff, and character stuff (and pages), and that has been about it. So here is a drawing of all the main characters we've seen so far, just for fun. The coloring process for the comic takes a really long time, so for this I just used my Wacom and did it really fast. Interesting little note, I tried drawing my drum set and my synthesizer into the drawing, both of them are kind of weird approximations, but I think they both still turned out cool.
